This wizard will guide you through installing Chauffeur Pro — no file editing, terminal access, or SSH required.
Server Requirements
Checking your server environment against Chauffeur Pro's requirements.
Folder Permissions
These folders must exist and be writable by the web server.
chmod -R 775 on the folders above, or ask your hosting provider to fix permissions. Then click "Re-check".
Restore from Backup
Upload a previously created Full System Backup (.zip or .tar.gz). We'll validate it, then restore your database, files, settings, and templates.
This still requires database credentials (next step) so we know where to restore your data — the database itself can be empty, we'll recreate everything from the backup.
Database Configuration
Enter your MySQL database credentials. No command line needed — we'll create tables and seed default data automatically.
Company Information
This will appear on invoices, emails, and your customer portal.
Super Admin Account
This account will have full access to the system.
Google Maps & API Setup
Chauffeur Pro relies on Google Maps for addresses, routing, and fare calculation. This key is required.
Required APIs: Places API (New), Geocoding, Directions/Routes, Maps JavaScript API. Enable these in your Google Cloud Console before validating.
Optional Third-Party Services
All optional — skip any of these and configure them later from Settings.
Initial System Configuration
You can change all of these later from Settings.
